Better to reign in hell
Than serve in heaven

that's definitely not biblical.

Actually it is biblical. What saves you biblically is accepting God as the on true God and that Jesus was our savior sent to be sacrificed for our sins rather than sacrificing goats and cows.

There's no where in the bible where it says it's okay to sin.

Short term, sin is more fun. Like sleeping with many different women and hoping your wife doesn’t find out.

But long term, a nice life living with your wife and children beats dating different women and seeing your kids 4 days a month.

Short term sin is fun.

Long term living God’s way is much more satisfying and complete.

I did a six month internship at a large VA hospital. Watching men who wasted their life on alcohol and strange women die alone contrasted with those surrounded by a spouse and children they spent a lifetime with made a lasting impact on me.

The Bible is not a book of rules. It is a book of how the World works.

Tell me you're Biblically blind without telling me you are Biblically blind.

Point making aside...question everything...Before you pontificate.

Hope this is clear.

Bad example.

Marriage is a commitment and being unfaithful goes beyond sin. Adultery is breaking a vow to a person, not God. A bachelor sleeping with a different woman every night would be a better example.

A preference for a married life is just that: your preference.

Your opinion.

Seeing a lot of friends in failed marriages has made a lasting impact on me too. And dying alone can happen to anyone.

Laughable.

What did they do in the Bible, stone women to death for adultery and all other sorts of barbaric things like that?

We’re all sinners.
Some just hide it better.
Some hide hide behind their sanctimoniousness.
Some behind their silence.
But rest assured we are all sinners.

And only the admittent sinner can pay penance.
Only those that face their brokenness can be reforged.

Let the self-righteous condemn.
It is with the broken that wars are won.

I live my life how I want to live it. Not according to some millenias-old book that has been edited and translated by people who want to control the masses.

Just dont hurt nobody and treat the people in your life well. If that aint good enough, oh well.

You have to spend eternity with one of 2 groups of people...

1 Group parties their arse off, has all the best musicians, and has an anything goes mentality.

The other group is (comparatively speaking) pretty uptight, listen to nothing but gospel and Christian rock, and are considered to be pretty judgmental. Which way are you going?

Ok, I'll bite.

So...(comparatively speaking), your ends-of-spectrums analogy is: SPENDING ETERNITY with:

1) Moral / Social Anarchists

2) The Godly / Conscientious

Slam Dunk. I'm way good with "2" for Eternity, dawg, thanks.

Or yes -- even those who in recent times who've never heard of "Jesus Christ" and the Gospel? What of their eternal soul?

Who knows the heart of man best? Who will judge that heart fairly? (even of thousands of years ago)

According to last chapter of God's Word in John's revelation (Berean Study Bible, Revelation 20:12)

"And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And there were open books, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books."
