WBRZ

If only we had midnight basketball.

BATON ROUGE – Police spent Tuesday morning searching for three people seen inside a Hundred Oaks home wearing masks.

Authorities said a housekeeper arrived at the home in the 2900 block of Reymond Drive Tuesday to find the group inside. One of the three appeared to be armed, police said.

The group left when the housekeeper got there. Surveillance video obtained by WBRZ shows the three suspects fleeing the scene of the burglary. The three are seen walking toward the home around 7:37 a.m. Tuesday. About 10 minutes later, that same surveillance camera caught the burglars as they ran out of the home.

Single entry point gated neighborhoods with armed guards are the way to go

Holy shite, that could have ended VERY badly for the housekeeper.

As nice as that area is, it's pretty much a ghetto front line position.

Yeah. There must have been an abandoned car, burnt streetlights, and tall grass a street or two over and the poor dears just got confused.

How are people not realizing that everything you do outside of your home is likely being caught on camera...and we haven't really even gotten our dash-cam game going strong yet..?

maybe the 3 misguided young black men thought they we're going into the house of their pastor for bible study, and when they noticed they were in the wrong house they ran...

Just a case of mistaken house identity, that's all

Had something like this happen to me while living in BR.

It wasn’t the only reason for me to leave but it certainly contributed.

The guys got caught and the officers responding suggested the assholes involved were responsible for a rash of breaking around Lakeshore, Southdowns, Capitol Heights, and other neighborhoods where people work during the day.

All that does is give one the ability to watch someone burglarizing your home. They know there are cameras, that’s why they were wearing masks.

One who reasonably expects the homeowner not to be home because they are working.
