So per Jeff Masters, there have only been six November hurricanes in the GOM.
We’re about to have two consecutive major hurricanes in mid November in the same season.
If that model held true we might be looking at the strongest November storm on record.

Most model guidance right now seems to favor keeping it in the BoC, eventually moving it across the Yucatan. That serves to keep it weaker, and when it turns north into the Gulf the advancing cold front sweeps it up, limiting any reorganization or strengthening. It winds up a scattered, strung out mess into Florida.
