Very windy at my place in Abita. Power went out about 10 minutes ago. How do I know that and why am I awake....because our stupid Roomba starts vacuuming and beeping when the power goes out.

I'm in Mandeville. Tree through the roof at 3am. Was patching holes and cutting trees since then. Very windy but the rain has stopped thankfully. I must have missed the weather guys talking about this wind.

yeah man I got a fricking disaster area at my place.
just reconnoitered the property with a light and I got big trees down everywhere
ones on my truck but luckily nothing on the house. It’s still fricking howling here and the ground is super saturated. Tomorrow will be long

The rain has been over for about thirty minutes at my house in Hammond, but I just had a random gust of wind that I think was worse than any during the rain storm. I heard all of my doors and windows move back and forth from the pressure.
