Damn. Just a steady rain up here in BR. Right hand lanes were starting to pool up when I drove in around 1AM, but that can happen with a summer thunderstorm (South Sherwood Forest). Nothing too heavy so far.

The farm rain gauge (Watson) was showing a little under 2 inches when I checked at 9PM last night. I'm guessing we may have gotten that much again overnight--maybe 3 to 4 inches overall. Or, as I would tell my wife, a rock-hard 7.5.

Holy shite. Just woke to see the weather and we must have gotten 6 or more inches of rain last night. Whole backyard is flooded. Wow. This is WAY more water than we got for ida. And the eye passed pretty close to us.

Is there anything that may get this shite out of here sooner or is the tropical moisture here for a while?

My understanding is it here for awhile. TD weather crew will be up and running soon enough. Time for some coffee

The radar looks like it’s already moved past us, or I’m an idiot, which is also just as likely.

How much rain did we get in BR through the night? Everything's super-saturated, but my ditches are pretty low.

Is it just me or is it way further east than it was forecast?

The circulation is where they have it located, all the rain separated and moved off. There was another storm in recent times where all the rain sheared away from the circulation I think. You can sometimes make out the circulation in the white clouds apart from colored moisture on OP radar.

Ascension has a pretty decent rain band headed their way right now.

I think the worst of it came through last night/ early this morning and we can expect showers off and on all day.

But I have been awake since about 0100, so I could delusional as well...

Duke said storms would "refire" and they did last night/ early morning but I dont know if that means the rest of the day....
