Hurricane models shifted to near MS/AL line but are stronger...

Latest hurricane model runs (max winds and lowest pressure just before landfall)

HMON - 100 mph and 964 mb at 1 AM Saturday - Gulf Shores

HAFS-A - 130 mph and 952 mb at 7 PM Friday - Dauphin Island

HAFS-B - 130 mph and 950 mb at 7 PM Friday - Pascagoula

HWRF - 125 mph and 949 mb at 1 PM Saturday - MS/AL line

This is just one run and subject to change but fairly consistent on this run for Cat 2/3 near MS/AL state line on either side.

Got fuel this morning for the generator and in our vehicles. Heading to the store in a few to get a few things. We rode out Sally in Fairhope and what a fricking shite show. I doubt this will be like that.

Didn’t know we had so many Baldwin county peeps here. We sold our OB place a few years ago and moved to Robertsdale. We moved back here after I retired from the Marine Corps

Sally was just a slow bitch. This one looks like it’s gonna fly through.

We’re supposed to be going to Fairhope Friday afternoon through the weekend for our anniversary. Looks like it’s getting the eye late Friday night.

Is this one weak enough to chance it?

Fairhope will almost certainly lose power due to fallen limbs/ trees (although there can’t be many left from sally a few years ago.
