FYI, if you're in the Gulfport-Biloxi area, waves are crashing over the seawall between Hewes Avenue and Centennial Plaza.
There wasn't much water on the road when I drove by there an hour ago, but it will probably get worse.

It also looks like it's going to drag some serious moisture right at new orleans as the storm moves inland. Follow the dark red as it makes it's way up the gulf.

All of the steeets in Elmwood are flooded. That's not out of the norm, even for a summer storm. Any idea when the rain will end?

Yep. Notable convective burst riding that plume of moisture toward SE La. Central part still covered by the dry slot and still pulling in quite a bit from her SW.
