IF true thats some third world mentality type shite. Scary that it exists right here in La.

ETA: Whitebear found a news snip:

quote:

arrested Darrione K. Bell, 20, 110 Weaver St., and charged him with three counts of first-degree murder in relation to the deaths of three senior citizens.

Rosie Hooper, 85, Ellis Hooper, 65, and Johnny Hooper, 67, all of 113 Weaver St., were prounounced dead Saturday morning.

Did he steal from them, snap, on drugs, or do we know?

Supposedly the guy broke in two homes to rob. This was shortly before he got in the third home and killed the three disabled people. The homeowner of the first home shot at the intruder and called the Sheriff's dept. The question on everyone's mind is that if law enforcement would have responded to the call in the 100% minority neighborhood, would that have prevented a triple homicide ? Concordia Parish is a great place to live but 9 or 10 homicides this year makes me question that.

So are you saying that the Sheriff’s Dept. did not respond to the call due to it being in a minority neighborhood?

Thanks for the extra information. Surprising this isn't being covered more. I search google and all I find is this thread and the ND's article. Would've thought at least KNOE or Alex's news stations would've been on this. Or maybe they have but no news was put up on their sites.

That's in Ridgecrest right off 425 between Vidalia and Ferriday.

Not saying that is the reason, just curious as to why no response to first home invasion. Also why no news coverage of this tragedy.

Fishing off the pier in backyard and great hunting down the road. My husband considers it paradise but we don’t go much anymore.

You're saying the Sheriff's Department ignored an attempted robbery with shots fired call?
