I posted a comment under a social media post about karmelo getting convicted that said "RIP Austin" and got multiple replies from you know who talking about how he is burning and rolling in his grave. These people are sick demons.
One of em even had a pinned tribute post to his podnuh that died young, likely to another karmelo type.
Almost told that guy "like your friend that got put on a t shirt?" but no need to stoop to that level

Going down the rabbit hole of self-defense stabbings, and I stumbled on the Apple River Stabbings in Wisconsin involving Nicolae Miu.
50ish year-old white mechanical engineer was on Apple River, he went over to a group of teens where he allegedly said he was looking for little girls. They started hounding him and making fun of him. He wouldn't leave and then they got physical with him. Pushing him down and hitting him. That's when he came up with a knife and stabbed 5 of them, killing 1. All caught on video. Jury still gave him 20 years, and he was less of an initial aggressor than Melo was and was legitimately ganged up on and getting hit.

I think he was looking for something of his he lost, and the kids started calling him a pedo because they thought it was funny

Would have went down as one of the goats if it wasn't for the final season. It wasn't Game of Thrones bad but holy hell what an awful ending. They tried to make up for it with the movie that came out this year and it was pretty bad too.
Still love the show but if I ever do a rewatch I'm just skipping the last season.

You're right, he did. He was looking for a friend's phone, and though the friend told him not to worry about it (it's already submerged and it was insured), he went looking anyway. He thought they had it and weren't giving it to them. Then the alleged looking for little girls came out and it all went downhill from there. it also looks like he checks to make sure he has his knife in his pocket as he approaches the teens and then checks his pocket again as it escalates. He wanted to be ready to at least pull it out, but he made sure he did unobtrusively as he's coming up out of the water. He never announced he had it and just started stabbing kids as they came at him.
Regardless, this guy had arguably more legitimate case for self-defense than Anthony, and the jury didn't buy it and gave him 20 years. Like Anthony, he should have just walked away.
