It isn't...just to you it seems.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the higher than average acorns last season
Not at all.

Started in 1952 and gained traction in the 60s and 70s but let’s don’t let facts get in the way.
The highest pollen levels in the last 50-60 years... Oh Noz...
I can only imagine the pollens levels back in the 1800's...shitload more plants around back then.

Went offshore fishing about ten years ago out of Boca Grande, Fl. There was barely any wind for about 4 days straight. We got out of Gaparilla Pass and for the next 20 miles or so, there were massive pollen patches all over the place and some other areas where currents were making 50ft wide, miles long streaks of bright yellow pollen streams.
I go on the water pretty often and that's the only time I've ever seen that happen. Awesome while it lasted.

Think it's related to those Chem trails

Yeah and my allergies are out of fricking control..
It's hit or miss for me. One day I'll be fine. Then today, I'll have out of control drainage and get randomly pukey. Running to the bathroom to spew if I can't blow my nose fast enough.
Post-nasal drip is the nastiest and weirdest condition I've ever had and I fricking hate it.

it's already got a yellow coating
Yep your truck is now full of tree pollen gizz. Either oak, pine, or both depending on your location. Gives new meaning to the term golden shower.
With the super cold air this January, the oaks in my area completely lost their leaves the weeks following the snow event. Then the pollen pods/catkins came out which really dusted anything in the area. Now, they are on the ground enmass. Luckily, no major allergies for me. Just a pain in the arse to clean all the leaves and catkins.

It's a "Rite of Spring" in my area of N.O. with all the huge oak trees in my area lining Banks St.
The yellow pollen coats everything and even leaving the house window open so the cool, fresh air can circulate can become a messy situation due to it.
Added this: And not long after the pollen drop we are blessed with the Buck Moth Caterpillar drop with them falling out of the oak trees to migrate to yards, bushes, bedding plants and occasionally down the collar of pedestrians navigating the sidewalks to sting the crap out of you.

The big freeze in BTR seems to have produced more weeds in lawns than ever.

Can anyone share what they do for their sinuses this time of year? I take a once a day allergy pill and at night, when needed I take Mucinex, but this time of year, the second I go outside my eyes start watering, I eventually get a headache, etc.

My red truck is yellow every morning. Thank goodness for my Carnation wash pass. I've been using it almost daily.

This last weather/flood event has seemed to clear a lot of it out in the Acadiana area. Thank God
