Similar situation. Backpack guitar and a harmonica (youtube lessons are great). Duolingo to learn a language. I’m not flying usually so I also take a telescopic fishing pole sometimes if I’m in an area I can fish. Also just bought an inflatable kayak that folds up fairly tight.

As several have said, learn a language. It may not earn you any money now, but you'll have opportunities in the future.

You can learn Russian and work with those safe airlines in Russia.

Get into photography. You can spend time on Lightroom developing photos.

I have bought and sold collector grade certified US coins for over a decade via the Interwebs.

Mostly to keep but some I’ve bought low & sold high.

Stock day (or night) trading?

Books are good. Banging FAs is better. Buddy of mine flies for Hawaiian.

What major are your working with?

We need an OT code for on the plane. I fly all the time and would love to hear a pilot with a shout out to the OT

I did this some during the 14 years I spent on the road. It was a fun hobby.

You travel a ton for work?

Within 3 years, you will be heavier, develop a drinking problem, and most likely be divorced, or single.

Not true at all. Not everyone eats hooters for lunch like you did and gained 50 pounds.

From now on, I'll address ATC as "baw" as to identify myself.
