. I watched a video of just the drain and fill. It’s a B$&@!. I’m not going to attempt. And the drain and fill may be all I need, just need a good place to go.
Dude are you a retard? A 10 year old could do it.

No “dude”, I’m not a retard. But we do have a Full Retard here. He posted a half a$&ed how to video on how to drain and fill a sealed transmission that leaves out the most important part of the procedure, where you insure that the fluid level is correct. Oh wait, that’s your post…found the retard! Thanks, you can pick up your participation trophy at the Hammond State School dip $hit.

I had some front end work done there in 1996. And prior to that they fixed a throttlebody issue on a 5.0 liter that Audubon Ford couldn’t diagnose. They did a good job but I haven’t had a need to go back since then. Does Louis still run the place. I used to like to listen to his weekend automotive radio show.

There’s a check plug for level. You’re still a retard.
The video also says to read description instructions on how to check level. Yup! You’re still a retard. A useless retarded dare I say “man”.
Your boyfriend pump your gas for you too?

Be careful with this. Doing a full flush on a high mileage transmission can cause issues. I think I'd try a drain + fill plus mesh filter change first.
Yea I wouldn’t flush a transmission that old. A flush will kick up a bunch of debris into areas you don’t want it. Think of the old thick transmission fluid as a seal kind of. It keeps everything where it’s at. Replacing it with a thin new oil could dislodge it

This chick can do it. WTF is wrong with you? Such a pussy. Whaaaaaaa it’s a bitch. Whaaaaaaaa
Posted on 12/11/25 at 7:36 pm to BCJ1994
Oh she does the filter too! I’m sure that’s definitely out of your brain bandwidth for sure to do. But she can! And don’t forget to clean those magnets! Very important to remind the girl you’re paying to do it.

I had to have the transmission in my 07 Tundra rebuilt about 4 years ago, during the supply chain crises.
Precision Transmission Exchange in Kenner did a good job.

There’s a guy in Walker that only works on Toyotas. Near the corner of burgess rd and 190. I brought my truck there once for something and he was quick and reasonable. He has strange hours though. Only works a couple days a week I think.

I think you are confusing a transmission flush vs a simple transmission drain and fill

Older transmissions that haven't had regular service, when doing a filter change, reuse the fluid.
Strain the old fluid, clean the pan, top of with new fluid.
IYKYK.

Mike's Transmission and Repair off of I-12 Strain/O'Neil. Had work done there last week. They did a great job and were half of what I was quoted from three other places.

There's actually no where to get this done. Toyotas don't actually break so there are no mechanics to repair them.
