I saw an interview with a teacher about teaching sex ed to include every possible variation on that you can imagine.
He referred to the child's parents as "caregivers". I found it curious that he called them that instead of calling them parents.
I figured it out. In his mind if the parents were only "caregivers" and not parents, since he was also a "caregiver" in the school setting, he had an equal say in the child's future as the parents.
This is their true belief. They have full rights and access to your children and their opinion counts just as much as yours.
