Woodbridge, NJ 1951 81 killed



Train runs off Bayonne drawbridge into Newark Bay (they think the engineer had a heart attack)



1995 India, 358 people killed when one train smashed into a train that had stopped because a cow was on the track



Telescoping (one car pushing through another) was a terrible way to die (and it resulted in almost certain death to anyone in the telescoped car)

Granville, New South Wales, Australia - 1977. The train derailed, striking the supports of a road bridge that crossed over the tracks, causing it to collapse onto the train. Worst train accident in Australian history. 84 killed, 210 injured.
