The train was going 100 mph on a 50 mph curve.

Of the 218 passengers, there were 79 fatalities (at one point reported as 80 due to a misidentification of some body parts)

Or Spain - in 2016 four were killed when a Spanish train derailed going 118 KMH in a 30 KMH zone. 43 killed in 2006 in Valencia train going 50 mph in a 25 mph zone.

107 killed in Japan in 2005 when a train derailed at a station, going twice the authorized track speed.

The 2015 Philadelphia Amtrak derailment was because the train was going 106mph in a 50mph curve in an urban section.

That was with their high speed Electric Siemens ACS-64 City Sprinter engine and older NEC regional train sets. The Acela Express might have made the turn at that speed with its tilt feature active.

What I learned from this thread: India is full of idiots.

Why are we outsourcing so much to them? They allow themselves to be put in danger and even killed because of a cow. A COW!

Rahtards!
