Also, PSA - at every crossing there's a blue sign on the signals or bucks, on that sign is a 1-800 number to the railroad safety and a crossing number. Call and tell 'em there's a problem and they'll declare an emergency on the track and get traffic to stop until it's cleared.

The guy driving the truck must be a high functioning retard. After thinking the train was going to stop in 20 feet he was screaming like Helen Keller after impact and more concered with his truck than the train. He wasn't going to think to do that.

Holy shite! That was pretty crazy. I know the dude was upset, but there was nothing that train could do at that point.

Under-insured, perhaps? I mean, I assume he got any loved ones or animals out.

Also, that train wasn't hauling much. If they were paying attention and saw it from a ways off, it seems like they could have slowed down more than that. Could have easily derailed from that collision.
