Because, while Hill Street was a big hit in its day- Seinfeld was a bigger hit, and significantly more recent, even though it ended over 20 years ago.. Hill Street’s heyday was almost 40 yrs ago now.

Considering the terrain and wildlife at night, it would have been stupid to bring the dog with him. Obviously he was walking to find help and coming back for the dog. What about this makes him a sicko?

That's the part that confuses me about this whole story.
Confuses me as too why a grown man would have a Pug.
