Really. A family that lobotomized a retarded sister and then shunted her off because she was a nuisance isn't a great family.
Hell, Ted gets kicked out of Harvard for cheating and the old man buys his place into UVa. Ted was a sack of shite his entire life. He and Joan's kids were messes. Then, of course, Chappaquiddick.
The Kennedys used to have a winter place here at Palm Beach. Their reps were none too sterling. RFK's kid, David, ODed here.

OT 10. She was crying for help over the past decade and the family didn't help. I can't even imagine the pain her grandmother Ethel has been through. Brother in-law shot, husband shot, nephew dead in a plane crash, and now grand daughter OD while under the same roof. Proof of how shitty karma can be...Joe having been a Hitler sympathizer and Teddy letting a woman drown to death sure have taken a toll on that family.

I tire of hearing or reading the media using the term "Kennedy Curse."
There is no curse. Just a bunch of spoiled elitist who were raised to think they are invincible royalty.
JFK chose to double cross the mafia after they helped him fix the 1960 election. His death was the result.
Teddy chose to drive drunk then chose to not save the woman in his car and leave the scene.
David Kennedy chose to mix cocaine and other drugs.
Michael Kennedy chose to get drunk and play football without a helmet whike skiing a steep downhill after ski patrol kept warning them to stop.
JFK jr chose to fly in conditions in which he was not qualified to fly.
Mary Kennedy chose to kill herself.
Joseph Kennedy III chose to drive a Jeep crazy enough that he flipped it and paralyzed a passenger.
..and there are many other instances where the bad result was from an arrogant course of action.

Joe and Rose had nine children.
Those nine had twenty-seven of their own. So that's potentially 27 families in the next generation and I think they've had maybe one other drug related death in the family, so probably not too much above average overdose deaths when looked at statistically.
Of the original nine children, only three died natural deaths, one is still alive, leaving three dead from violence, one in a plane crash, and one basically killed by her own dad.
The odd thing besides the violent deaths are the number of plane crash deaths in that family.

Tragedies strike many families so not sure why we act like the Kennedys have a monopoly on that.

Do you consider yourself a "full" whatever your maternal grandfather's last name is? I guess you would if they were famous.
Nobody is a "full" anything except maybe in Alabama.
