Look, girls, at least 6’ tall! Don’t let him get away.
Many young ladies are very easily tricked, mostly because they don’t know what characteristics the should be looking for in a good man, and so make poor choices, ending up with zeroes like this hero.

Sounds like the parents need to figure out how to go after Davidson County jailers and that judge. Total failure of their responsibilities. Nashville/Davidson has gone way to Left do not surprised here, so maybe the dad goes scorched earth on them to teach them a lesson.
RIP in peace young lady.

As part of an agreement with Rivers’ defense attorney, Lance Johansen said that the family was to be contacted if there were any changes to Rivers’ status, and he was supposed to be fitted with a GPS ankle monitor. That did not happen.
“They let him out and didn’t tell us, and didn’t put the ankle monitor on him. They just let him walk out of jail,” Johansen said.
Criminal charges should be filed against whoever was supposed to be in charge of this.

If I were her parents, I 1000% would be in front of that judges house at this minute!
I could see his family being directly "affected" by his actions

Shoot him in the face.

This is Bailey calling from the district attorney’s office in Nashville. Bricen Rivers was released from custody. He was supposed to report straight to a GPS company and be put on a GPS monitor and he was not to leave Davidson County. But as soon as he was released, he did not report to that GPS monitoring company, and he has not been heard from. I wanted to make sure Lauren is safe.
Are they on the honor system in Nashville? Right before being released would have been best time to put the GPS monitor on him.
They then wait a week before notifying the family with the voicemail above that not only was he released a week ago but he never showed up to get his GPS monitor put on.
Just going by the dad the Hattiesburg PD doesn’t look good as well. If the entire situation was told to them it seems like that would be enough to get the OnStar location of the car much quicker than they did.

Johansen said that he called his daughter but she did not answer. When she texted him, it “didn’t really look like the way she talks.”…
… Early Tuesday morning, Johansen said he woke up around 4 a.m. and received a notification that his daughter’s Life360 Tracker was turned off. Then, he received a call from his younger daughter who was living with Lauren. She said that Lauren was not home, the front door was left open, and their security camera was destroyed.
The family contacted Hattiesburg Police Department to file a missing person report.
“When I got up there in the morning, I called to see what [Hattiesburg Police] found overnight. There was no communication. They didn’t do anything. We assumed they were going to track the vehicle and try to find her, but they never did it until Wednesday at 3 o’clock when I insisted they find out where the car was.”

I just saw the family released a photo from the December beating that should have caused him to still be in jail instead of being let out to murder her.
Doesn’t look like same person.
He went after her face again when he murdered her at the beginning of July.

A woman's face was beaten off by her domestic abuser ex-boyfriend after he was released from a Nashville jail despite viciously-beating her.
…He beat her so badly that her skull and her face pretty much became fractured from the rest of her body,' Johansen's father Dr. Lance Johansen told WDAM.
'He basically beat her until the front of her head came off. No human being deserves to have this happen to them.'

That’s sickening to read.
I wish a judge or two as well as some liberal politicians could get a beating like she got.

Every time I think the death penalty may not have a place in society stories like this totally vindicate it.

Doesn't have a place? We need to expedite it and make it public in q lot of cases. There should be mass hangings daily.

Is this guy still alive? If so, why? Why is he still breathing can capable of walking?

I agree something like this should be swift and public.

I cannot stand going soft on violent offenders. This shite needs to stop.

I would like to have a convo with these judges. Ask them how they would feel if it was their daughter.
He beat so bad she looked like that. There is no rehabilitating that kind of person.
They warned them if he got out he would go kill her and he did.
I just don't think this country is tough enough on violent offenders. Clearly. Something needs to change. I don't care about other offenses, but I do care about violent offenders.

Rivers was released from custody on Monday, June 24, after posting bond.
We have confirmed Rivers original bond was set out $250,000, but was reduced.
Anyone who was involved in giving him this light of a bond should be charged as an accessory. Even the $250,000 wasn't enough.

Amen. We need to use it MUCH more frequently.

This has to be the worst one in Mississippi since Brandon Theesfeld
