Yeah, it's not dropping any severe warnings. It is looking better on radar, but probably going to be a bust in terms of severe weather. Can't complain about that.
Crap.

How is this looking better? I'm starting to see darker red now headed straight towards BR

Baton Rouge is fixing to get hit hard. They keep saying midnight but it looks like 10 or so we gonna get pounded.
Posted on 11/17/15 at 9:14 pm to CuseTiger
The rain intensity doesn't tell you the whole story. I'm sure we'll get some strong wind and rain and what not, but nothing like last April for example. Will be a typical strong cold front most likely.

Not going to be anything BR isn't already used to.

Oh yeah, forgot about that storm. How many lightning strikes were there? Remember Pat Shingleton going crazy the next day

I hear the sirens going off right now...looks like it is going to be a long night here in central, ms...
I can't really see anything on the radar, except a pretty turbulent thunderstorm, though.

Weather Channel is showing possible tornado at Flora, MS heading north east.
Posted on 11/17/15 at 9:56 pm to Spankum
Check the velocity radar. If there's a tornado, you'll see red and green tightly packed in together.
Just go to Jackson's NWS page and you can find it.

Since you're in central MS, that's a really useful thing to know about.
