Assuming I got a little more time to get back to BR from NO.
That sounding you posted for Houma on page one, that can't be real.

I would suggest getting RadarScope for your phone or tablet. Very good quality, single site radar app. It costs $10, but it's worth it. Many in the Weather community use it, but it is good even for non-weatherman folk.

Since there are a lot of people here who are in the threat areas for the next couple of days, I want to remind everyone to have a way to get watches/warnings. Don't rely on tornado sirens, you should have a NOAA Weather Radio or an app that can alert you (or have both). A great app that me and my family use is called Weather Radio by WDT it costs $4.99, but is worth it. The app tracks your GPS location. If you're in the warning polygon the app warns you, if you're not, it doesn't bother you. You can customize what type of warnings you want to recieve. You can view radar in the same app, as well.
Just don't want to hear that someone lost their life because they didn't get the warning.

It's just the NAM model, and it's shown for 5 runs in a row. I'm concerned at how consistent it is.

Weather radios are really amazing. I advocate for everyone in America to have one. They're just as important as smoke detectors.

They really are. They are very effective, and most importantly, they are loud enough to wake you up if severe weather happens during the night. I honestly wish every household had one.
The only thing I want improved with them is that they eventually become warning polygon based (like apps are) and not county/parish based. But still they are great and effective.

We have a setup across the south-central U.S. on Sunday that could prove to be one of the biggest tornado producing days of the year, to date. However, there are multiple limiting factors that could throw various-sized wrenches into the system, which could prevent it from reaching its maximum tornado potential. Let’s dive in.
NUMBER OF TORNADOES EXPECTED: 30-75 – CONFIDENCE: Normal
Tornado Hot-spot: Eastern Texas, Louisiana
Pros: Moderate to high instability, good/excellent speed and directional shear, decent upper-level dynamics, and excellent low-level moisture.
Cons: Extensive cloud cover, some low-level capping, potential for veer-back-veer wind profiles in the western parts of the threat area, and potential for storms to grow upscale quickly. All risk limiting the amount of long-lived supercells.
