All quiet right now everywhere. Not much going on with those Mansfield cells.

quick question for one of the resident meteorologists

with KLIX being down how shitty is it going to be for SELA (New Orleans/MS Gulf Coast up to Biloxi)? KMOB is the closest to Biloxi...just curious if the resolution will be there.

KLIX is back up thankfully

The live feed of pumping gas might get interesting if the locals determine they’re easy prey.

They are at the raceway by the interstate and cedar grove, those guys wouldn’t be hanging out there if they knew the area they are in

I wouldn't stop there in broad daylight. Especially not with a bunch of fancy equipment in the car and have a picnic in the parking lot

The tornado to the west of Stonewall was on the ground during those couple of scans where the cell really ramped up. It was confirmed when the radar presentation was winding down but it had already been on the ground and lifted before that.

Brett Adair drone shot of the tornado as it crossed highway 169

So far, the HRRR has nailed the storm mode. It overshot a bit on instability, though, at least to this point.
