They are at the raceway by the interstate and cedar grove, those guys wouldn’t be hanging out there if they knew the area they are in

The tornado to the west of Stonewall was on the ground during those couple of scans where the cell really ramped up. It was confirmed when the radar presentation was winding down but it had already been on the ground and lifted before that.

So far, the HRRR has nailed the storm mode. It overshot a bit on instability, though, at least to this point.
