Looks like the likely tornado would be invisible from the east with all the rain. That's not good.

Toys, crib mattress, snacks and songs for the tub. And make sure everyone has on shoes and a jacket just incase. All things I wish I had known last year. We couldn't find shoes and were freezing when we had to get outside in the rain afterwards.

ETA: have your phone charger in your pocket just incase. Make sure your garage is shut with cars in if possible.

Some serious gust potential with these storms, regardless of there being a tornado or not.

WAFB has good live feed on their facebook, BTW.

I imagine BR airport is getting some nasty weather now. 60 mph winds in some areas.

WAFB is recommending that Southern U students move into their safe spaces.

I wanted to laugh but this is probably pretty serious.

WAFB said airport originally...but I think it is north of you by a few miles. I'd still be mindful for the next 20 minutes.

Edit: New warning extended towards Central and Watson apparently. Must be north/east of the airport?

Good shot of a wall cloud on WAFB's news feed. Either there is no funnel or they are not pointed in the right direction.

There's definitely lowering, can't tell if there's any rotation on video.

It seems like the Montpelier/Amite area is always a magnet for these storms
