Just got a new Entergy text. Estimated time for restoration to the Garden District is now 5 p.m. on October 15 - 2 days. I've heard from a buddy of mine who works for Entergy that it might actually be 5 days.

Trampolines are like round kites. Once the wind gets up under them and lifts it up they can travel long distances. Sometimes the get to rolling like a giant tire that can go through a fence with ease and do some damage to a car or house.

Grandmothers house in Garden District monroe had an oak fall on the garage and back patio. Only a few limbs down over at our place in River Oaks. Everyone's safe though.

I got a call at 715 saying power off until Friday. Literally 4 minutes later, power back on.

I've still got it, but no cable.

I'm between 8th and 18th in the Garden District.

Did you get a message that power had been restored? My aunt and uncle are in the garden district.

Sorry for the late reply. No message that power was restored, it just came back on. Unfortunately, everything else other than my place and the couple next to me are still black.

Thanks. If you text the entergy number does it say power has been restored for you?

We had property damage in west Monroe as well.

Prayers up for my people up in NELA.

Did Duck Commander HQ make it out ok? I bet Willie could sell some shingles on E-Bay if not.
