I deserve that, but I did say I thought Alabama would end up getting it worse

After someone explained it to you multiple times.

Some of us will be here until 3am getting all the info we can. People have died.

This is simply incredible. The TDS from the Bassville, MS extended up to at least 28,000 feet, and had a peak Vrot of at *least* 110 kt, placing it in an elite tier of violent tornadoes, potentially among the likes of El Reno 2011 and Vilonia 2014.

I remember watching that live when the surge came in and took the truck, was absolutely horrifying.

El Reno 2011 ended up being EF5

Vilonia 2014 was EF4... but probably only b/c some of the buildings it completely destroyed were nailed down to the foundation and not bolted down

This is one of the ones they will talk about forever. That damn thing was a no-doubter for a long time. It was just a classic radar storm, and watching it was crazy.

The storm that produced the tornado in Monroe, LA earlier today is still producing into Georgia. It came very close to me north of Birmingham, but missed. We got some of the worst straight line winds I’ve ever seen, though.

It has ridden that high all the way across 3 states.

What's the best news station live stream right now?

Dunno. I'm using the OT to keep up.

Both Birmingham stations Spann and CBS 42 went off live due to lack of threats.

I drove around Monroe just now it’s crazy out there. Big wreck out on 165 south, power out, there were power lines down, didn’t make it all the way to the airport but I can only imagine.

Also Facebook prompted me to mark myself safe. I’m not douchey enough to actually do it but I think this was my first Facebook safe prompt
