It seems like at least every 2-3 years Yazoo City, MS takes a hit from a tornado.
Still tryin' to get Marcell, or that coon, down out of that tree.
One of em' has to have some relief.

tornado warning just got extended eastward

Seems like that’s the line that will be headed towards Tuscaloosa/Birmingham later? Is that correct? Or more to pop up

Serious question is the line about to hit yazoo city pretty much it or is there potential for cells to build up behind it later today?
Pretty sure Northeast Louisiana has a tornado watch until 6:30 pm Central.

How populated is that area north of Yazoo?
Not very. Friend of mines dad has a large catfish farm west of Eden. Hoping they weren’t hit

Why would someone say it’s nothing concerning a 3-4-5 state area?
Seems pretty broad statement for someone to make during the early part of storm.

looks like the cap broke around lafayette, could see some shite here in south LA after all

tornado possibly back on the ground between Eden & Lexington, Miss.
Posted on 4/12/20 at 1:51 pm to SpanishFortTiger
I’m wondering why tornado watch is extended to 8pm tonight in most northeast and central La being as majority of storm is now in miss moving eastward pretty quickly.

I'm not sure which.

Yazoo Co. has probably had more tornadoes than anywhere in the southeast in the past 25 years.

In Shreveport it's hot and clear now, I think we will see some big storms fire north of here this afternoon when the low comes through

Don't sleep on this one Garrison. Red Mountain usually splits storms either South or North. 2011 went straight over that bitch. We lost a good piece of roof in Clay and the neighborhood below us off Deerfoot Pkwy got pummeled. It jumped over us and jacked up the neighborhood on the other side too.
