Around 2007 or 2008 I was leaving a LSU home game and on Burbank a little past the apartments that were previously called Burbank Commons (not sure if still the name) there was a guy that looked to be passed out/dead on the side of the road. Half his body was on the road and half was on the side.  Me and another person must have seen him at the same time because we pulled over right before we got to him. I was thinking he was hit by a car or something because he wasn't moving. We got out of our cars and as we got closer he literally just jumped up and ran directly into the woods. Freaked out me out for a good while and I still have no clue what happened

About two years ago, I drove back from CO to AL. I took I-70 from Denver all the way to KC. Did a little fricking around and made it back to Bama through IL, KY, and TN.

2 in the afternoon, I was on the IL/KY border on the interstate. I looked up in to the bright, blue sky and saw some kind of UFO. Sombitch was hovering in the middle of my sightline. I drove for two or three miles, staring awestruck at whatever the frick was sitting there. It was bright, metallic, and stationary. Just completely out of the ordinary.

I pass under a bridge in Iuca (I think) and the motherfricker is nowhere to be seen. Granted, I was higher than giraffe pussy, but I know that goddamn thing was there. I still can't understand or explain what I saw without sounding completely nuts.

Bunch of flying objects, an entire swarm. Some turning at sharp right angles. One reversed. Probably 50 small lights and one big object.

Saw something shot down over Wasilla area. Others saw it too. Looked like the challenger disaster.

just a regular glass

I guess if the glass itself was somehow compromised and there were thousands of little fractures that all came apart when it fell over...

...which is another thing...why did it fall over?

I thought the OP would at least give an example of his own. What a pile of crap.

Mine is the “faceless man”. Though, faceless seems a misnomer. I can remember he had features. I can remember his clothing. His manner of dress. The smoothness with which he walked.

The night was a celebration of an anniversary with a college girlfriend. We went to K-Paul’s in New Orleans. I can remember the meal, what we each ordered, what our drinks were. The only alcohol shared was a single coffee liqueur after the meal. I can remember the travelling businessman who was seated alone next to us… his rather sad smile, the loneliness in his eyes as he consumed his meal. I can remember her smell, her smile, her eyes. I know exactly what I was wearing from shoes to tie.

But I can’t recall the face.

After dinner, we walked outside; I watched a couple walk into Maspero’s. The girlfriend was laughing, bouncing, damned near giddy. The silence on the street was suddenly deafening. Looking behind me, there was no one. In front, seemingly no one. She kept talking. She enjoyed the meal. It was then that I noticed him. A man, roughly a block ahead, close to the Omni. He was just walking. It seemed effortless. He was dressed impeccably, but it didn’t seem an event for him. The clothing seemed a part of him… as if he could not exist wearing anything else. He smiled at me, though we were clearly too far apart for him to notice where my gaze lie.

The distance closed.

We were each walking toward the other. A booming deafening silence on a street that has not been quiet for hundreds of years. There was something predatory about him. Quiet. The manner of which he moved belied grace, power, utter fearlessness.

The distance continued to get shorter. The girlfriend continued to be oblivious.

It became apparent that his eyes were only on us. He was staring. Glaring. Though he seemed to smile, there was menace. Calm. Collected. Purposeful. He meant to do us harm. Not because of anger. Not because of need. It was simply his nature. Anyone who has ever been in a seedier area of a third world country will know the look. The fake aloofness. The gait that signals a man knows exactly how he is transferring his weight on every step. Ready for an attack or to attack.

In a flash, he was 100ft closer. It didn’t make sense. My eyes had not left this man. There was no crowd to obscure his movement. He was simply in one spot…and then in another. The girlfriend finally realized we had quickened our pace. I wanted to get to the corner. I needed to get to the corner. Being at the corner meant a crowd to the right. Someone else who might see this seemingly inevitable exchange.

His gaze drifted upward, scanning windows. My eyes never left his face. His snapped back to mine. He wasn’t smiling. His face was blank. Dark. The only thing on it were his eyes. Pits.

We reached the corner; there was no one. A street separated us. I essentially shoved the girlfriend through the door of Maspero’s. Looking outward, there was no one across the street. There was a crowd to the right. There was a crowd walking down the street from where we came. Everything was back to normal…and yet I could no longer recall his face. Everything was burned into my memory, but his face was elusive. Gone.

Hahaha. No man. One body. Brown and tree bark like, more like Realtree I counted 6 legs. Did not look threatening but I wasn’t looking to test this new mutant x-bug by giving it the benefit of the doubt.

I was sober, I’ve been outside before. I examined this thing for a solid ten minutes before I made an executive decision.

It was weird. Probably about 2002.

Sitting on the couch watching TV with 2 buddies... TV shuts off, but the remote was behind us in the kitchen, so nobody had access to it... we all turn and look behind us and every kitchen cabinet door was open, fridge and freezer door was open, oven door was open and the dishwasher was open and both the top and bottom sliders were out... I was the last person in the kitchen and had just gotten a beer 2 minutes before, and left the remote on the counter

That property had some kinda frickery going on, because that wasnt the first or last incident of strange things

Some examples:
Doors opening and closing themselves (not A/C)
Shadows of people randomly on a wall
People being touched
The occasional item falling off the book shelf
Lamp turned itself on

The house and property ended up being sold and developed into a small neighborhood

When I was a teenager my family moved out of state. One night I was home alone. I get out of the shower and the phone was ringing. I answer. Guy on the other line says he just missed a call from this number. I told him I was the only one home and I hadn't called anybody.

After a minute or two of back and forth we figured out we knew each other. He was a friend of my dad's and said he didn't know we had moved and he was glad to know our new phone number.

Still can't figure out how our number showed up on his caller ID. He insisted the call had been placed during the previous few minutes while I had been home alone.

My family gets home and I quiz them. None of them had called him.

Things that make you go hmm.....

When I was around 12, I was at the lake with my cousins. It was around midnight and we were headed to another place on the lake. As we passed under the power lines, I looked back up the ridge and saw a bright orange light.
When I asked if anyone saw it, a couple of people said they saw it also. We put the boat in reverse and the light was gone. We were sitting still looking around for the light. We saw it again on the other side of the sky. We all were talking about what the hell it could’ve been.
All the sudden the light zooms quickly away and we never saw it again.

Right. I had an employee on govt assistance and he had a medical MJ card (I live in FL) and the state allows these folks on welfare to purchase their “meds” with their welfare cards. This blew my mind when I was first told.

Few years ago, I was just about asleep. Someone grabbed my leg and yanked me halfway off my bed. I jumped up and turned my light on. Figured someone was messing with me. When I turned on the light, there was a shadow figure kneeling down staring at me. Disappeared after a couple of seconds. Was more pissed then scared getting woken up. Cussed at it, then went back to sleep.
