As soon as people understand that your body has viruses in it at all times, and that they just decided to identify one as CV in order to destroy the global economy, we'll all be alot better off. It's smoke and mirrors and statistics manipulation at best.

I bet many areas are wishing this now. Some entire states canceled all elective surgeries when only certain areas and municipalities were seeing spikes.

The one size fits all, statewide shutdown strategy was a real head scratcher. The shutdowns generally were a big folly, and treating all areas the same only compounded the error.

They say it can take two weeks to see the effects of gatherings. Lets see, protest on June 2nd, that would be 16 days ago. Will the media make the connection?

I wish I could find pictures of it that were all over Facebook the day it happened. Some interesting demographics involved.
Then part of the march was right in front of our house because it started at the Civic Center downtown and my wife (who isn't from here) asked me why there were more white people marching than blacks. She thought maybe it was a Louisiana thing.

The rally was on the 31st and the march was on the 2nd. The LCPD even helped transport the ones on the 2nd back because they were too lazy to walk back after marching down Clarence and Ryan St.

I honestly don't think it will take that long. The spike we are seeing in Lake Charles among younger people is attributed to packed crowds at OB's, notably on Wednesday, June 10th. Those kids starting showing symptoms on Sunday and were tested on Monday and Tuesday. Average time for symptoms to set in is 4-5 days.

There’s enough test kits around to monitor the spike real-time. As long as the LC kids are smart enough to keep it out of the nursing homes all that will happen is Louisiana CFR will plummet.
