You must rent because ATX property taxes are high as giraffe nuts.

If you want a trendy city overrun by pretentious hipsters claiming cultural superiority because they like went to art school then Austin is your place!

I like New Orleans better to visit but if I had to choose one to live it would be Austin.

Both are great

Austin has more hipsters per capita than fricking Spring Lake, CA. It's total hipster. STFU if you don't have a frame of reference.

Well you will be running out of things to do pretty soon. Live music is kind of Austin's thing.

Did anyone say "your chances of dying while driving in Austin are roughly 1 in 3" yet

Is it possible that the liberals in Austin help make Austin so likable?

It's the only good place in Texas and it's the most hippie. Austin is awesome, Texas blows.

I moved to Texas from Nola a year ago. Cleaner, safer, better in every way for me except traffic. I was in Nola this week and naturally just drove by the crime scene of a double homicide. Just another day in Nola.

NOLA trash is what makes NOLA..people don't make NOLA one way or another, NOLA makes its people.

When you're here you absorb all of its trash and treasures.

Objectively speaking, it's hard to say NOLA is better and more desirable than Austin. And trust me, NOLA is my favorite city in the US. From a nature standpoint in particular.
