The reason is he's rambling and saying every random thought that pops in his head.

The likely reason is to use a high profile tragedy to push/defend his agenda whether it's related or not instead of caring much about real facts.

Not that he's alone among politicians in this approach but that's clearly the reason.

Care to explain? Everything I’ve seen and heard, has ATC going through all protocols and making every right call

The WH presser has been awful I'll leave it at that. Not a time for politics.

If you want some solid entertainment value social experiment material, go to the Political board and let them know that. Those retards over there can't handle anything remotely against Trump.

I’m over giving him the benefit of the doubt. He’s blaming Biden and DEI to avoid responsibility for it happening during his presidency.

Spare me the “it’s only been ten days!” excuse.

DEI may have had zero to do with this incident. But DEI takes the eye off the ball for the FAA, as a whole.

I think Trump will be the biggest benefactor if it did have a lot to do with this crash

I'm ATC and consider myself a Trump supporter but that presser was awful.

You can think Trump is acting like a douche here

While also acknowledging that the spike in incidents on Biden's watch that accompanied and insane preoccupation with DEI is more likely to have something to do with how we got to yesterday than anything Trump has done in his weeklong Presidency

Or the copter pilot could have just fricked up and it has nothing to do with DEI.

Reading some of the back and forth things in this thread, prompted me to go down a rabbit hole or two. If you don't mind, who typically is in the cockpit, a pilot?, a co-pilot?, a navigator?, first officer?.

What are the functions on typical take offs, mid flight and landings?

Thanks.

777, ring in if you see this...

I may have missed it, but did they give the helo a direction for conflicting traffic?

I.e “You’ll pass behind a CRJ, 2 o’,clock, one thousand feet, advise when you have traffic in sight” - or something to that affect?

“Do you have the CRJ in sight?” was the last question he asked, so I may have missed the rest.

This has nothing to do with ATC they were perfect on all their calls

Not sure

Combination of ATC and chopper pilot errors

CRJ pilots likely victims of the frickups

Are you fricking stupid? It's basic arse math. One guy put policies in place over 4 years, one guy has been in office and little over a week. You're an idiot of the highest magnitude if you think Trump is to blame for this.

And I've said it before, i don't think it's a DEI issue, the ATC seems to have done their job. The assholes like this Rupar dipshit turned this political. Trump is simply responding.
