You should check out the Bari Weiss/Brianna Wu interview going around today. I haven't watched it, but apparently the focus is on how the left's capture of what was a very small community dealing quietly with itself (trans-identifying people and their treatment) has contorted it into something grotesque that the public feels it has to defend itself from and is ultimately doing damage to everyone (including the trans identifying people).
And I don't mean this to switch the discussion to a right-left thing, but I think it factors in to my broader point about the "vitriol" coming from people that are being asked to swallow a lie. It's silly not to expect quite a bit of bitterness to result.

This makes no sense. Nobody thinks this is acceptable behavior. And in what normal world should a perpetrator of battery mayhem go unpunished yet a victim of such battery be suspended, for nothing more than being a victim of said crime. It's only make believe.

There is some precedent. The Loudon County dad who got arrested for his lashing out after his daughter was viciously raped by a boy pretending to be a girl in school comes to mind.

Mom needs to get the best lawyer in town and sue the hell out of the school district & principal.
Sue them for millions, use the video as evidence AND any threats the principal dished out to have the video suppressed. Make them pay medical & psychological costs + pain & suffering + emotional trauma + free college tuition ++++. Sue the hell out of them!
