This thread is about finding an example of a trans kid doing something bad so trans kids can be villainized.

Like shooting up a school in Nashville?

I don’t care who threw the first punch, started it, I saw the end of it which has a boy beating a girls head into the pavement. Which should get him arrested. I’d be saying the same thing if a girl was beating another girl’s head into the pavement.

Also seems like a different conversation.
It isn’t because you’re feeding the delusion.

At no point have i ever said what the trans kid did was acceptable.
There is no such thing as a trans kid.

The adults letting this go is unacceptable, and the only reason they did is the insane belief you can change sex just by saying you did and fearing the mob if they tell the truth. That is clinically insane level of delusion, and feeding that delusion is equally as bad if not worse.

You don't think a relatively recent sociological phenomenon promoted to youth by government, media, most institutions and entertainment arguably leading to increased suicide, violence and other issues among said youth is worth discussing?

Isn't this just an example to be used in discussing that, as we do with 100 other topics on this board?

I am willing to discuss those things. The problem is when I argue they aren’t true people accuse me of supporting this girl getting her head beat in or not believing any trans person can do any wrong.

Sure. which is why in the past thread about this I pointed our how fricking dumb it’s to pretend this is a pandemic of tran violence when we have to search every corner of the country to find examples.

I can fans a video of high school girls beating the shite out of another girl in maine in like 20 seconds. We are making threads saying all women are dangerous.

Look, just quit arguing it and put it in your back pocket that, if Sammy's wife or daughter ever takes a swing at you, you can take her to the ground and beat her senseless. He's got no sympathy for people who start fights.

I mean, isn't that the general consensus on this board?

Man versus man, sure. This board tends to not support violence against women and children unless it's a life-threatening situation.

Define pandemic?

If the insinuation is that there isn't an impactful influx of trans violence in America right now, I think that's reasonable but debatable. A number of recent high profile violent acts have involved trans people, but it's a drop in the bucket of American violence/criminality, sure (but so are school shootings, etc.).

If you're dismissing the notion of increasing violence among purportedly "trans people" - a previously negligible portion of the population but growing - I don't think that's as reasonable. People identifying as trans suffer from mental illness and it's beyond question that large portions of the community suffer from serious mental/behavioral disorders (aside from dysphoria).

I think any reasonable person would want to try and gauge whether selling mentally ill people a false bill of goods at a time in their lives where they're often at their most volatile emotionally is a recipe for societal problems. While plenty of people just want to dive into these topics because trans identifying people are disturbing, I think underlying much of that is what I'm talking about - the culture is fueling anger and discontent in a vulnerable population and we'd be rather stupid not to want to know if it's starting to bear bad fruit.

We know. It’s more likely it made you happy the violent young man beat her into the concrete while one of your Klan did nothing to stop it.

I think all of that can be discussed in a civilized manor, but I don’t think this is a civilized manor.

It’s fear mongering and confirmation bias for a very negative outlook of a group of people.

I'd argue this is a pretty natural push back from the general public (the OT here) as to being force fed the idea that up is down by pretty much every institution with influence in our lives.

People want to talk about what this influence means for their kids and what impact it is having on kids around their kids.

I'm open to the notion that at the core of this story and others like it might be a disturbed kid/teen who instead of getting help is being told to double down on his disorder, leading to predictably chaotic outcomes. And that those stories merit more than just distaste for the kid/teen, who in some ways may well be a victim too.
