Hate to hear it for you, happened to me too. Life goes on.

Oh look another guilty woman projecting the blame onto others. I’m going through this now OP with very similar circumstances. It gets better just takes time. You’ll be better off, hang in there.

Glad you realized it and didn't believe her lies.

She's going to project on you hardcore like it's all your fault but no one put a gun to her head and forced her to cheat.

Finally, and I say this with 100% certainty : you're going to come out the other side of this better off.

In fact, I am willing to bet this bitch was a significant source of your misery but you just didn't realize it.

UPDATE: long story short, wife of her coworker caught them together, and they’ve been hanging out a few times. Wife maintains nothing physical happened, but she lied about meeting up with him, multiple times. I told her to leave tonight, will be changing the locks tomorrow. 3 year marriage and 8 year relationship gone.

There’s more of a bombshell to this that won’t be posted yet.

Well now you shouldn’t have any problem posting her pictures

Fact is she did cheat with the lies. Especially when they pertain to another guy who isn't you. Get ready for the trickle truth, you know, the one where she puts out the truth only in short bursts with the hopes of mitigating the unfaithfulness.

I'm sorry for you, man. I really am. Hope you can get past this and enjoy a happy life sooner rather than later.

Don’t do this. Get a lawyer and follow his/her advice.

Few things:

1) She’s lying that nothing physical happened.

2) Don’t change the locks if you’re still married. And don’t change the locks if her name is on the deed.

3) No kids involved makes this an easy split. I know it sucks losing your marriage, but you are literally being set free from a failing relationship. Get an attorney to ensure a safe separation.

Genuine question. I have no advice to offer but are you suggesting that he move out and temporarily let her stay in the house? Why is that to his benefit?

No, whatever he does, don't move out. Try to get her to move out. However, legally, it is still her home if she and he cannot take actions like changing the locks to keep her out. He has to co-exist with her until a mutual parting is agreed upon.

Forget about her for a moment and let's talk about the drinking to the point of blacking out.

I'll tell you the same thing that someone told me and it helped me greatly.

If you are over 30 and drinking like a frat boy, you're acting like an a-hole. Realize that responsible adults don't do this. Sure, we can have some drink and can even get a good buzz but getting yourself so slobbering drunk is never good and nothing good will ever come out of those experiences. If you can't learn to know when to stop, then you're not responsible enough to drink. It's time to grow up and be a man instead of a boy.
