his emails must be pretty damning.
First, she blames the parish attorney's office.
Now, she is firing someone in her office. So apparently her office had some blame in this also. So how is she not taking any of the blame here? This office is in total shambles.

I was still working for the city when he came on, and I am honestly quite surprised that he lasted this long.

Remember this guy, the CAO appointee, who lied about his degree and Broome had no idea until the advocate called the university? They told him he still owes them money
Middle aged man with a single hoop earring. I can't believe it didn't work out

Officials WOULD not comment. Easy out every time. “ under investigation” , “we are presently investigating “ , “ we can not comment at this time “. All of this official speak is El Toro Poo Poo.

At the meeting, Hill and Parish Attorney Andy Dotson declined to provide more information on the need to quickly approve the proposal, pointing to a non-disclosure agreement signed by city-parish officials who are taking part in negotiations with federal regulators.

So is Dotson next?

Can someone explain the stormwater controversy to me?

If Andy’s out too, whatever shite went on behind the scenes must be really bad. She’s panicking, which is a sign that she was in the know and has something to hide. She’s hoping if she gives up enough sacrificial lambs that the inquiries will stop. I don’t think that’s the case this time.

Mayor wants to tax our roofs. Says they have to hurry up and ok it but says she can’t give any details because the EPA made them sign an NDA. Local media goes along like they always do and doesn’t question anything. Garrett Graves says hold up, this smells fishy. EPA says mayor is lying.

Numerous credible sources say East Baton Rouge Parish Attorney Anderson “Andy” Dotson could be next on the chopping block when it comes to resignations/terminations/removals over the proposed storm water fees.

It’s why several council members believe they were misled and are now considering moving forward with the removal process for Dotson.
A hearing must be set giving Dotson 10 days’ notice of the hearing. As of now, a hearing date has not been set.

BRBR has an afternoon report indicating that Laurie Adams is pushing a motion to rescind the Stormwater district previously set up.

One of these losers needs to stand up and rat out the mayor instead of falling on the sword.

Nak was in today. Got E mails from C-P which were highly redacted.
He tried to interview the parish attorney but he wouldn’t stop.
He did interview Laurie Adams, she wants the PA fired and the Stormwater District dropped.

EBR Councilman begins process to remove parish attorney
quote:
East Baton Rouge Councilman Cleve Dunn has introduced an emergency item for the Oct. 26th metro council agenda over more fallout from the storm water fees.
It’s to introduce a “notice of intent to remove” EBR Parish Attorney Anderson “Andy” Dotson.
Unfiltered with Kiran did reach out to Councilman Dunn, who said he did not want to publicly comment on the matter. The emergency introduction comes after UWK reported on Monday that Dotson’s job may be next over the proposed storm water fee fiasco.
quote:
The agenda item reads that Councilman Dunn wants to remove Dotson as Parish Attorney “due to the loss of confidence in his ability to continue as Parish Attorney.”
