If you're not in a trashy place Popeye's is great. If you live around trash it's definitely an underwhelming experience

there’s not a Popeyes in the town I live. I rarely eat fast food if I’m not traveling. Why do you eat garbage on a regular basis?

I'd sub Krystal at 5 for Panda and bump 4 & 5 up just because Panda is not a southern thing. Isn't there also a southern answer to Long Dong Silvers?

I don't see how anyone likes Canes more than Zaxby's. I never saw the appeal of Cane's.

Honestly pretty similar. I think Foo’s tenders may actually be smaller than canes. Although Foo’s tenders have a little seasoning.

Zaxby’s absolutely sucks.

Just list Raising Cane’s or Whataburger twice instead. Because they are pretty damn good.

This list is just for my small corner of the world (north georgia mountains).

5 Captain D's
4 Bojangles
3 zaxby's
2 waffle house
1 Chic fil a

That 1 popeyes chicken sandwich is excellent. But we are more likely to buy kroger fried chicken or get a family box from Bojangles than do anything at popeyes (was closed for over a year after busted selling meth in the drive thru).

The head of franchising for Panda Express moved to Georgia from New York back in the 80s. That is the only thing that i know is southern about Panda Express. Still... id rather get take out at my favorite chinese restaurant than go to panda express.

Waffle house has quick in and out dining and take out (as a parallel to drive thru). It is southern. Fast. Food. Chain.
