A lot of engineering on that list. It's a shame so much money goes to nerds who won't do anything cool with it.
Actually I just bought a pretty nice new pair of crocs

This is a little surprising. I wouldn't expect it to be toward the top, but below things like "Miscellaneous Fine Arts" is a bet I would have lost.
The reason in the fine print of the article. The ranking is based on having a bachelors degree. Can't do much with a BS in clinical psychology. Pretty much NEED an advanced degree, probably a PhD to do anything worthwhile.

My comment was directed at real engineers.

My company's region laid off >80% of their field personnel. And then they moved me back to the field. Dumbasses

What do you do with this degree and no graduate education?
Does it stipulate that this data is just for people without graduate education?

Don't feel bad, you passed the FE and we're all super proud of how smart you are. Want us to hang it up on the fridge to show off how super smart you are? Huh? Would that be fun?

its probably really hard for a student to get a job in petroleum engineering right now

As does African American studies
The vast majority of majors that include "studies" in it are typically not worth the cost.

They are referring to average ones, not just kangz.

Study must have been done when oil was $90

I'm a field engineer. I'm not a fundamentals of engineering exam.

Well bachelor's of arts are designed to pursue a graduate degree, no to go straight into employment.
