Does it stipulate that this data is just for people without graduate education?

Yes, I believe it stated bachelors degree only.

I'm curious about this one. Especially in a state like Louisiana where it is dearly needed.

A lot of people get the BS and don't get the higher degrees required to practice. This must average in all the ones that become waiters, bartenders and work in retail. It still seems low.

I have a PSYC BS, but then got an MBA and became a banker.

ETA: I read the article and was impressed that it actually encouraged girls to pursue STEM degrees rather than just lamenting the fact that those male dominated fields pay better.

Pharmacy is a graduate degree. I believe all Pharmacy programs now award a PharmD, a doctorate in pharmacy.

And before that it was a masters. I'm sure it's been some time since it was only a bachelors. I'm not sure what anyone with a bachelors in pharmacy is doing, outside of maybe pharm sales, but that's been a diminishing field.

Always A lot of old fricks, they are building cvs and walgreens daily around this country. Huge demand for Pharmacist.

Isn't this another field where salaries have been cut in half since everyone just works for the big boy pharmacies instead of going into business for themselves now?

Computer Science not being #1 is blasphemy. The job market, future growth, pay, and quality of life working in software is as good as it gets.

A two year Associate's Degree in Process Technology tops them all.

Three of those variables weren't part of this survey Einstein.

I'm not sure what pharmacists used to make, but I don't think their salaries have been cut in half.

I know plenty of people that have fine arts degrees that work in creative fields and make six figures plus easily. Maybe the national average is low, but once you get into a creative field it's one of best ways to make a living.
