Took grandbaby to strawberry patch today

And was highly disappointed with the outcome. No strawberries worth picking.

I haven't seen many roadside sellers this year. Maybe it was a bad crop

Which one did yall go to? I went with my son's kindergarten class this past Tuesday to Liuzza Farms in Amite. They have a small patch near the area that they do all the visitor stuff and it was so picked over that I could barely fill 1 of the 2 small containers that they gave us.

Kids had a blast though. That's all that really matters.

The lady running the show on the day we went said it was a bad crop year due to heavy rain.

I thought maybe the strawberry patch was like the "farm" that parents often take unwanted dogs to.

Did not meet expectations.
