The love you had - and have - for him cannot ever go away. And the love he had for you can also not ever go away. It’s raw kinetic energy. And it cannot be destroyed. So sorry for your loss. Any time I read about a parent having to bury their child my heart and stomach just completely sink. I can’t even imagine how that feels. Praying for you and your family.

I’m so sorry you had to experience that. There are no words that will be comfort enough for you losing a child. But knowing someone who had CF, I know in order for him to live that long and full of a life your support likely made that happen. Sending love and light your way.

Very sorry. I have a good friend and his friend has cystic fibrosis. He's 22 perhaps and a really nice guy. I know a bit of the cross you did bear and the friends' and relatives' loyalty is a tribute not just to your son but to the parenting and care you gave him.
