Cheer me up guys. Found out this morning a good friend of mine was dead at his house, he had 2 small children.

And on top of that my best employee shot himself last night. Terrible start to the week

Damn man. That's terrible news. Nothing you can do except hug your wife, kids dog whatever you got. Life can be too short.

Well. That might not be all bad. At least the pet part you can work on. They don't give you any 'ish.

Prayers, man. Phone calls about friends dying unexpectedly or suicides aren't easily forgotten, and I remember the moment for some 30 years on. It's unsettling and I always felt terrible for a time after. Be there for the family, though, as difficult as it may seem when it feels like there's nothing you can say or do to make it better.

The Delta is a strange mistress. She can be sexy and exciting and full of joy. But on cold rainy days in the depth of winter, she feels ominous and depressing.

Most of the guys I know from the Delta have issues too many women, too much booze, too much cocaine, too much time and money on their hands. Seems to be a tough combination.

Sorry for you and your friends. Go do something to make yourself feel better.

Maybe it’s because I’m not from there, but to me, the Delta is depressing as shite. I feel like I’m stuck in the 1930s when I’m there.

You can include me in this. As well as my friend. Not sure what caused his death, not hearing suicide. Maybe heart attack. He loved his cocaine, women and bourbon
