Stupid pot heads. Always laughing and enjoying themselves and occasionally taking a minute to hangout with each other conscientiously. Why can’t they get drunk and angry and in everyone’s business and loud and ruin peoples evening like us alchoholics. Yeah I don’t get it either. The post you quoted was dickish but factually correct.
If one doesn’t want their family to know they smoke weed (which is the point of the “cousin walk”, right?”), the simplest solution would be to not smoke during Thanksgiving dinner. But they can’t even do that. Sounds like an addiction to me.
If one is having to step away from the table to go beat off to porn behind the house, guess what they’re probably addicted to?

It has nothing to do with not wanting someone to know. It has to do with being respectful and not smoking in the house and also avoiding the dumbass opinions and judgements of people for example in this thread. I seriously doubt the majority of people smoking cannabis are ashamed or trying to hide it.

Well, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m ignorant on how all of this works.
Serious question, people have been stepping outside to smoke cigarettes since forever (also an addiction btw), why not just say you’re steeping outside to smoke?

I don’t know what’s worse to be honest: listening to a drunken boomer give me an earful of ignorant propaganda from their reefer madness videos or listening to the “cool aunt” who wants to tell me all about how she accidentally drank half a THC seltzer once so she “gets it”.
I don’t feel the need to interject my opinions everytime some cracks a beer or loudly from across the room make some dumb joke about “the munchies” every time someone makes an old fashioned. But everyone seems to want to make comments anytime someone consumes cannabis in any form.
The reason for the “walk” is because most of us just want to chill in peace for a few minutes and enjoy the moment without commentary and remarks and judgment.

Pathetic users. Ashamed to admit they use so they make up some “new cool social thing” to fit in with the rest of the sad empty souls.
Here’s an idea: instead of numbing yourselves to remove you from your consciousness, go exercise, read a book, take a real walk without a depressant, start a project, or something else that doesn’t involve polluting your mind. If you can’t conjure up the energy or will to do those things for yourself and your health, go see a professional.
