Can we be honest & say no one is staying home & self isolating for 14 days as required by JBE?
If a husband tests positive by JBE’s rules the wife has to quarantine for 14 days
No groceries, no shopping, no family, no neighbors, no work

Does anyone believe people are actually doing this?

I am with you, because I have year long allergies too. However knowing what I know now, I would take the test to be safe. That all I am trying to get across. Trying to get to phase 3 people

I’m around people, many different groups of them, all day long

Wife and I did it. It's not difficult. Call a relative or friend and have them drop off groceries. Work dropped off my PC. Why are you making this seem so difficult?

I personally would get tested simply because it would greatly impact how I handled it. When I get a cold I go to work and just let my staff know to stay away from me and I meet clients in a conference room explain why I am not shaking hands and sit further away than I normally would. If I was COVID pos I wouldn't go to work at least during the day and I wouldn't visit my father.

Hell, I take a Benedryl every damn night so I don't wake up coughing and sneezing. I take a Claritin or Zyrtec and use Nasaqort 9 out of 10 days.

It's the life I live with allergies. I have a scratchy throat, mile drainage and I've coughed 4 times and sneezed twice in my office this morning within the last 2 hrs. I'm damn sure not about go get tested for something I deal with daily.

You're sick, bfd. No need in causing a panic among all the dumb dumbs in the event you test positive.

Good for you doing what’s right
I just don’t think the majority of people have the means to self isolate for 14 days

The 3 people I know locally that have recently tested positive all quarantined for 14 days, including everyone in their house. They had friends get groceries for them and drop them off.

Yes. Not everyone believes the government hatched this grand conspiracy to hide our faces and raise unemployment. There are still people being sensible.

Everyone has an appointment at the funeral home. Don't cancel yours until you actually survive the virus.

Getting tested is stupid unless you are having severe symptoms.

The tests are 50 % accurate at best.

I think positive/negative statistics have become such a political clusterfrick, that they don’t mean much anymore. However, If I had a disease that could potentially kill someone else, I would want to know it regardless of my symptoms or political leanings.

Testing would be dumb. So what if you have Wuhan flu and may be spreading it

just avoid being around others for a few weeks. an early detection of this disease doesn't work to your advantage. i mean.....it's not like detecting cancer early.

My buddy took a test with no symptoms. Came back positive.

The next day he took another test from a different clinic. Came back negative.
