Gosh I'm so sorry to hear this. Prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. You certainly did not fail in any way as a father. Clearly you love him--always have, always will. Mental illnesses are very challenging to manage. They are also very difficult to understand. I'm deeply sorry for your loss and I pray you find peace and strength. Do not be afraid to seek professional help during this difficult grieving time.

4, please tell them my heart still goes out to them. They are fine people. It was my duty as a human being to help a fellow person out that was in need. That was and is instill to my kids as it was to me.
