They definitely won't hire you.

So you think if I don't take my skills and figure out for myself without their influence I'll be ok?

I feel like this thread has some unstated social or political angle. Maybe a pop culture reference I'm not picking up.

In this environment, I would start looking elsewhere. If an opportunity is available then leave. Don't leave and then try to find something.

Sounds like you work for a family-owned company where nepotism is king. I recently got out of one of those after 14 years and have never been happier. Nothing like working somewhere where you know you'll never, ever rise to the top because those spots are reserved.

OP is trolling you. He's talking about Trump White House. Posting a pic of Ivana should have been a clue.

Subliminal "sinking ship" metaphor well-played here.

This would indicate that you want to save the vessel, your heart says "Stay, Rover".

Waste of time. It's broken anyway.

Well if you're that close to the inner circle of this particular group, you probably don't have any real marketable skills or qualifications for a similar job at a rival.

Unless you count blind loyalty.

So yeah, you're screwed. Maybe an operations position at a Florida resort?

And if you are still dilly-dallying on the first day that a payroll is late, take that as the 'go' order.

Well, you can surely trust the advice of a bunch of degenerates on the internet who fling shite for entertainment.
