To Bail On My Company Or NotPosted by Sao
on 1/14/21 at 7:38 am

Issue is who I work for has been very volatile recently. I'm watching from a distance but I'm not even seeing our CEO's BOD back her up. Her own daughter, SIL and spouse actually. All of whom are appointed close allies. Then, she's lied to keep us all on board to keep the company in tact. Like, work for an effort that is certain to crumble.
I have no idea how it will end but I'm being told to just keep the faith and say and do whatever is needed to keep this train running. I know it's about to derail but I like her. And the company. But it's doomed.
Should I bail?

Do what’s best for your family. Not theirs.

Assuming you work remote, I would probably go get a new job and collect both salaries until the old employer fired me for lack of performance.

Company loyalty is a thing of the past. There is no reward for loyalty anymore. If you see a situation going south I sure as hell wouldn’t bank my livelihood on it
