Renata Rojas still hasn't checked in either
when the sub was first launching it appeared she was also on it,
according to tweets from her friends
so, we have a WEF billionare, on the board of seti,
and at least 2 of the experts that lead the recovery of artifacts from the titanic, previously.
3 experts if Renata Rojas is on it
wonder if their "mission" was a bit more interesting than we are lead to believe

How do you drop the ballast if you're stuck on the bottom?
Some of the ballast is abandoned construction pipes that are sitting on shelves on the side of the thing, and the way you detach the ballast is you get everybody ob-board to lean to one side of the sub and they roll off,' he explained.

Na they will just get their revenge on the sub. Probably beat the shite out of him on the sub

sure would be hard not to beat the guy (owner) to death as you sit on the bottom of the ocean

Sounds like a very complicated and precise system.

I posted, pages ago ITT, wondering if the CEO was entertaining two vv wealthy folks in the hopes of gaining some funding... Be a tougher sales pitch at this point.

were they actually searching for Godzilla?

I would assume with as many dives as this thing has done, these weren't the first two very wealthy individuals to travel on it.

I guarantee that dude thinks there's some deep sea lab for billionaires down there.

The CEO of OceanGate, which is operating the missing Titanic tourist submarine, explains that the company didn’t want to hire any experienced “50 year old white guys” because they weren’t “inspirational.”

It's tragic that these people are lost, but this is comical. How the hell did this guy get the money to be at the point of actually getting this POS to the shipwreck?

Looking at the news the navy is sending equipment to sea. Lol at the incompetence. They are 3 days too late. These guys are dead or will be dead in the next 12 hours. They are going on 3 days no water

At a quarter million per ticket, I would posit that everyone who has been on it is pretty wealthy.... I wonder how often the CEO has made the trip?

They’re sending a salvage operation, not a search and rescue. Read my post from the previous page.

Do we even have any submersibles that can also be used to recover the missing sub?

You serious, Clark?

Maybe they're being a bit leisurely because they know there's no need to rush, but just don't want to say that publicly yet.
