I used to give them each a 20 for lunch as they leave if good performance. A lot of the hired help could use a meal

The going rate is 3 months salary and an hour each with your wife, girlfriend, and/or mom....

No need to tip them. They are already ripping you off.

It’s either tip when they close the truck and depart or pay the ransom when they arrive and unload.

$150-200 an hour for 3 baws to move heavy shite is reasonable to me

I tipped the crew I had very well. They went above and beyond for me though.

if everything makes it and nothing is broken I’m pretty generous, moving is hard work, if they cop an attitude, which seems to be prevalent these days, that’s a different story

People working at your house putting furniture where you ask them to, yes, tip them all. You don't have to over-tip. Just tip each one lunch money. This is a great example of when to tip someone.

Yes.

I fricking hate moving. And I am generous with the people that handle the labor for me.

I hate moving with a passion, my dad had trucks and trailers for his business and people would always ask to borrow them to move, he’d say “of course, I’ll send 777 over there with one to give you a hand,”. I got volunteered to help people move more times than I can remember, in addition to all of my moves

Of course I tip them. If they do a good job and are moving my stuff in 90-95 degree heat I give them a little extra $$.

How much did your move cost? Looking to move soon and wondering costs to hire a full service company.
