I find it interesting that Helmut Head lives in St. George. With her being so woke, I wonder why she doesn’t live in North Baton Rouge.

Unless she's a hypocrite, she should move to be away from all these white supremacists.

She's just like the rest of the white liberals. They love treating black people as pets, not equals. She champions "black causes" for the novelty of it in order to satisfy her white savior complex.

Pretty much. Just like that video when Kibbles refers to blacks as "these people." The looks on their faces tells the tale.

Considering how much opposition there was to SG, this is sort of a useless argument.

Helmet Head is real mad that people are allowed to vote to better their own lives because it may be detrimental to someone else.
Why can’t those in the BR city limits vote to better their own lives too? All they have to do is stop electing people like Broome and Chauna, and vote against every tax increase they throw on the ballot.
This isn’t a one way street.
They also cannot grasp that the black unincorporated areas did not want St. George during the first petition and therefore were removed for the second round. That’s not racism. That is political strategy. They are now allowed to stay unincorporated as they wished.
Dumbfricks.

Someone explained to her exactly why those areas were excluded and how they were allowed to remain unincorporated as they wished and she said, “nah, racism.”

She’s not dumb enough to send her kids to those schools. She probably can’t afford private schools so the ones in SG are probably good enough at the moment

They mostly drew based on previous signature support. I think they drew around the Advocate building & land & then also businesses off Siegan & I10 that are in process or part of a plan to be annexed by BR that was in original StG areas as well (not sure why not done with mall of Louisiana). It wasn’t just apartments & wasn’t based on race although BR playing race card may have led to areas with black residents not showing a lot of support in previous attempts or in opinion polls on matter. Depending on voter registration time frame from approval to be put on ballot & deadline to register being at a new address it might have also been wise to draw around apartments regardless of race or StG position of occupants in as many apartments as possible to avoid temporary residents having too much of a say in whether to incorporate or not.
If the property owners of apartments want to be annexed they can ask now that incorporation was approved. If they and long time residents want BR to annex them I am sure many can find routes to connect to BR. It’s just whether or not BR will approve.

This needs to change. If someone ran for mayor/president with this as their platform I’d vote for them.

Is there anything he doesn't take credit for? He wouldn't pick a candidate until after run off. Even though one called for him to resign and the other professes his love for him.
