I was there Thursday before going to St Amant Graduation for a quick beer. When it got to be 5:30 on a Thursday and there was only about 5 people there I figured things werent looking good.

Damn didn't the dude Javi from Tio Javi's leave there to work at the Kilt? I wonder if he's going back to Javi's?

Went there once on the way to the Sportsman Show. Took about 15 minutes for a waitress to get our drink order then the food took forever to come out.

Scenery was nice but I can see why they closed.

went there in march on a saturday night around 7. place was maybe half full. our waitress was terrible and too big to be wearing the uniform.

the place (building) was nice but i think location and sub par service brought it down.

I went to the one in downtown Phoenix last month and they had some fantastic talent working there. It wasn't crazy busy, but it was still daytime and the place was maybe half full. Good service. Great talent. Great location (across the street from the ballpark).

Damned shame. The one in Killeen, TX, was everything it's supposed to be.

I figured they laid off ( no pun intended) all their management staff and anyone making over $10 an hour a few months ago

So you'd think, but that isn't always the case.

When I moved to CA, I was looking for a bar to watch Saints games at. There was a Hooters in Newport Beach just a few miles from where I lived, so I tried it first. Not only were the girls and service pitiful, they had Australian rules football on the TV. This was after I called and specifically asked if they would be showing the Saints game.

DISAPPOINTED!!!

I think it is. When I go to Hooters now, it's actually for the food, especially the buffalo shrimp. I've never been to TK or TP, but they're likely the same.

Nationally, we are outpacing the industry. As far as the state, we are doing the same. A lot has to do with the economy starting to come back

Maybe they thought you meant the St. Kilda Saints.

Food was just terrible there. They had almost no meat on their sandwiches. Very little protein in their selections, just all shitty carbs and you would leave either still hungry or just stuffed full of shite carbs and no meat.

For those types of places, Tilted Kilt food was the worst. Hooters is ok and fine for bar food so hooters will always do ok. Twin Peaks actually has really good food. Like great food for a bar several dishes that are $20 restaurant quality dishes for around $15. Generous portions and quality.

The location was good concidering all the hotels in that area. Most are full during the week with plant work (turnaround). I guess that couldn’t make up for shitty food and service.
