This is crazy to hear. I grew up in the same subdivision as Bret and his brother used to bring me to school my freshman yr at Bishop. The family definitely has my prayers .

CCA should contribute a fishing trip or something to his son he left behind.
That would be cool

It was a very moving service, there wasn't a dry eye in that place. The guys who spoke on his behalf did a great job.

Good seeing you AP, but let's meet again outside a funeral home, deal?
Nice job today, I'm not sure if I could have done what you did today. I looked around and didn't see a dry eye. Damn onions.
Spoken from the heart and a true friend you are to him. The services were great and the support for the family was terrific.
RIP Bret Anselmo! You will be missed.

What a great person! I had the privilege of playing for him my freshman year of high school. It's amazing the amount of kids he coached who are now adults and making a positive impact in this world. Great coach, person, dad, friend.....BA will be missed but his legacy will continue through all that knew him
